AT ITS MERCY
The mind, so intriguing, has its own life, does things on its own, falls in love and moves on when it pleases, so independent that we are entirely at its mercy, not even the brain spared. They tell you “do what you love so life can be easier”, money goes down the drain after years of studying in the best schools, only because “my mind isn’t there”, all just to please the mind. You don't just wake up one day to be able to balance chemical equations; our brains don't just pick that up without our mind giving permission.
We are all at its mercy.
